While scrolling through your live feed on twitter you see a tweet that you want to share with your colleague, co-worker, or friend. Which can be done by sending a direct message. The following steps are how to send a direct message both on a desktop and mobile version of twitter.

Step 1: Click on the three dots which is being pointed to by the blue arrow.

Step 2: Click on the share via Direct Message being pointed to by the blue arrow.

Step 3: Search for the person or people that you wish to send the tweet to in the area pointed out by the blue arrow.

Step 4: Hit the next button pointed to by the red arrow.

Step 5: Add comments to the message where the blue arrow is pointing.

Step 6: When you are done hit the send button that is being point to by the red arrow.

Mobile Direct Message steps:

Step 1: Click the message button being pointed to by the red arrow.

Step 2: Type out the person who you wish to send the message to being shown but he red arrow.

Step 3: The area pointed to by the red arrow where you can add comments to the tweet.

Step 4: When done hit the send button pointed to by the blue arrow.
