Our first challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected both the natural beauty of the area and the comfortable style of the homes at Creekside Commons. The goal was to design a logo that embodied the serene, creek-side environment while maintaining a sense of privacy and relaxation for residents. We needed a brand that would resonate with potential renters, building a foundation of trust and familiarity.

Building a Brand

We began by designing a logo with simplified, subdued tones to reflect the calming natural environment that inspired the Creekside name. This logo became the cornerstone of the brand, representing the community’s essence and setting the tone for future marketing efforts. Consistency in branding was essential to creating a strong connection between the community and prospective residents.

Real Imagery Over Stock Photos

For the marketing materials, we focused on capturing the essence of the Creekside location. Rather than relying on stock images, we hired local photographer Nathaniel Baines to photograph the surrounding landscape. His work provided a personal, authentic touch to our pocket folder design, allowing prospective residents to connect with the natural environment in a way that stock photos couldn’t replicate. This decision helped to strengthen the brand’s authenticity and appeal.

Organized Marketing Materials

To ensure that the marketing materials were functional and easy to use, we collaborated closely with the client to create color-coded floor plans and concise, well-organized brochures. We designed these materials with both the sales team and potential residents in mind, ensuring ease of use for everyone involved. This meticulous organization made it simple for employees to convey key information and for clients to understand their options, whether in print or online.
